By booking a consultation or sleep support package with Balanced Bedtime, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About the Service
Balanced Bedtime provides non-medical baby and child sleep coaching and support, tailored to your family’s needs.

Support may be delivered in person, online, or via phone, email, or message

Advice is based on the information you provide before and during the support period

Every child and family is unique; therefore specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed
2. Payment & Booking

Full payment is required within 24 hours of booking confirmation
-
If payment is not received within this timeframe, your consultation date may be released
-
Payment confirms your booking and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
-
All fees are agreed in advance and outlined in your booking confirmation
Additional children:
An additional fee of £50 per child applies if support is required for more than one child.
3. Cancellations, Refunds & Missed Appointments

All payments are non-refundable, including deposits
-
Cancellations made after payment will result in the full fee being retained

Missed appointments or calls will be counted as used support, as another family may have been declined that slot
-
Post-consultation calls require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule
Cancellation by Balanced Bedtime
In the unlikely event that Balanced Bedtime needs to cancel a consultation or support due to illness, emergency, or personal circumstances, you will be offered either:

a full refund, or
-
an alternative appointment or revised support arrangement, subject to availability.
No additional compensation will be payable beyond the refund of fees already paid.
4. Support Period & Availability

Support packages begin on the date of the main consultation, unless a delayed start date is agreed in advance

A set start date must be confirmed during the consultation if support is delayed

Support is provided for the agreed package duration only
Contact hours:
Follow-up support is available Monday–Friday, 10am–3pm, via email or message unless otherwise agreed.

Messages are typically responded to within 24 hours

Evening or weekend support must be pre-arranged

During holidays or busy periods, responses may take slightly longer
Balanced Bedtime may occasionally be unavailable due to personal or professional commitments.
5. Parent / Carer Responsibility

All suggestions offered are optional

You remain fully responsible for decisions relating to your child’s sleep, feeding, routine, and care
-
Results depend on consistency, commitment, and individual circumstances
-
Goals may not always be achieved within the support period; tools and guidance will be provided to support progress
Sleep plans are for your family only and must not be shared with third parties.
6. Health, Safety & Medical Disclaimer

You agree to disclose any medical conditions or additional needs relating to your child, as these may affect guidance

You confirm that you will follow safe sleep guidance, including SIDS recommendations (e.g. The Lullaby Trust)

If you choose not to follow safe sleep guidance, you accept full responsibility
Balanced Bedtime does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You agree to seek advice from a GP or qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns or medication.
7. Parent Wellbeing, Duty of Care & Professional Boundaries

You confirm that you are in suitable physical and mental health to engage with sleep support.

Balanced Bedtime reserves the right to temporarily pause or withdraw support if continuing is not safe or appropriate. Any pause will be confirmed in writing, and remaining support may be resumed within two months of the original start date. No refunds will be issued.

Professional Conduct
Balanced Bedtime aims to provide a supportive and respectful service. Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate communication will not be tolerated. Balanced Bedtime reserves the right to discontinue services immediately if such behaviour occurs. This decision will be confirmed in writing, and no refund will be issued.
8. Home Visits & Travel (if applicable)

Home visits incur an additional travel fee

Travel is charged based on train and taxi costs

All travel costs will be quoted and agreed prior to booking
9. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All personal information is handled in line with the Balanced Bedtime Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
Information is kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law (e.g. safeguarding concerns).
10. Limitation of Liability
Balanced Bedtime provides guidance for educational and support purposes only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

No warranties are given regarding outcomes

Balanced Bedtime is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from the use of advice provided

You voluntarily agree to release Balanced Bedtime from any claims connected to the service
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with UK law.
12. Changes to Terms
Balanced Bedtime reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The most recent version will always apply.
Acceptance
By booking and paying for services, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.
